Beauty My Humble Opinion Is All About Who Is Perceiving It

What is Beauty? Beauty in my humble opinion is all about who is perceiving it, although there are many things that can be widely accepted as beautiful, whether it s a bountiful orchard of apple trees or the deeply vast ocean blue with the waves cascading down producing a glorious sound and the grand mysteries of life looming in the depths beneath. Beauty can be described as the fresh snow glistening on the pine trees with deer majestic in their natural glory, nested down in peaceful slumber and fat, fluffy hares dancing playfully in the snow bounding in every direction or birds in song singing to their own unique tune not unlike a grand orchestrate making wonderful music for all to hear. It is in the fresh paw prints in the snow and the curiosity it creates of what furry little creature left them as he scurried by doing reconnaissance for food and how oblivious to our human world he was in doing so, relying on only primal instincts to live by. Beauty is the bright pink salmon swimmin g in the stream while a ferocious bear awaits them to pluck them out and subdue his monstrous belly in doing so, the countless amounts of rocks in that stream of every shape and size, the moss that clings to them and dances with the pressures of the current. I observe majestic beauty in the giant ominous mountains looming high above the sky, such as a stairway to the heavens for all those to gaze upon in grand awe. Not only physically, but verbally bullying as well. The effects bullying can have on someone is something that may last throughout ones life, or something that may end their life. Bullying is an issue that should not be taken lightly. Years ago bullying was known to be just in school and not that harmless, but lately the term bullying has a whole different meaning. We will write a custom essay on A Life of Being Bullied specifically for you for only $16.38 $13.9/page Order now Now bullying has escalated throughout schools and even over the internet which has become very dangerous Students should want to go to school because they want to get a better education and they shouldn’t have to worry about if someone is going to harass them day by day. This topic is so important to me because I was one of those children who hated going to school because of the bullies in my class. I never thought that when you get bullied that ignoring them will make them leave you alone, I believed that it would only make matters worse. It was my freshman year, a year that I would never forget. Freshman year was the worse. This was the year that I literally faced bullying. It was not physical, but was more verbal. People were saying stuff that I knew wasn’t true, but hurt me so much. They tried getting other people to turn against me and to talk mess, family and old friends even turned on me, but no matter what never stooped down to their level and gave in to their non-sense. Although I was tormented freshman year I always kept my head high and no matter what others said I always tried to make the situation positive. As my sophomore year came things continued happening. The situation from the previous year was bought into the new year. I thought to myself, â€Å"This is a new year, can’t people just let things go, and whatever happened in the past be gone and left there. † Well, I was wrong. Worse things started to happen and it got to the point where it was affecting me in not only school, but playing softball as well. That is when I said, â€Å"Enough is enough. † I begged the administrators for help and guidance and if they could please do something about it, but instead they just said, â€Å"There’s nothing we can do. Everywhere you go people are going to dislike you and treat you wrong you just have to ignore it and get over it. † I understood that everywhere I went or would go I was not going to be liked by everyone, or not always appreciated for what I do, but I also understood that if what was going on is starting to affect me personally, then something needed to be and should have been done. And if nothing is going to be done then I have to take it a step over and go to the district. The district put a stop to it, but that did not last too long. After that, things started to settle down. It was calmer, mellower, I had no distractions of people saying stuff or starting anything with me. Things were going good until my junior year. Then, it started again. I decided getting new friends and even try to date would help, but that was a mistake. That lasted for a while, but when things did not go his way and when things got out of hand, I did not feel comfortable, and it was not what I wanted so we broke up. † Well, from there he started spreading rumors about me, and the whole situation started again. .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a , .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .postImageUrl , .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a , .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:hover , .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:visited , .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:active { border:0!important; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:active , .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .ud5cba59ef95ada8c84bc23f369ba262a:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Mindwalk: International Relations EssayI was starting to get really upset and frustrated and almost took my life. I decided to ask my mom about what to do, and she said â€Å"Just ignore it, you -are the bigger person, if you stoop down to their level you prove to them that they have won and they have defeated you so you’re weak. It just shows them that it bothers you. Don’t give them that satisfaction of defeating you and having more to talk about. † I always believed that ignoring it would not make things better it would make things worse because I would have done something I regretted. Senior year it kept happening, the problems kept occurring, then I finally said enough is enough. I asked my mom if I could have a second option. I was then homeschooled for the beginning of my senior year until I transferred to a different school in a different district. Until talking with my mom I never really thought that ignoring them would solve the situation, I thought that nothing would happen that the whole thing till continue. The new school was much better. I met new friends and wasn’t talked about. I fit in better and I was able to really embrace and enjoy my last year in high school before heading to college. Ignoring the situation actually put a stop to the nonsense that I had in mind and showed others that it did not bother me. Now I know that from now on that whenever a situation like that occurs to just ignore it. I know violence is not the best option and does not always settle things, but I just never thought that ignoring the problem would work too. Now I do and now I plan to stick with that in the future to settle my problems if any occur. Based on my situations I have had, the experiences on bullying that no matter it being physical or not, has changed and shaped me to the way I see things, and now I know what to do next time a problem occurs. Ignoring the ignorance and understanding my place on this earth has helped me shape myself and become a better person. I walk with my head held high and not let my past define who I am today. I try to help other who face what I had to face before and encourage them to be the bigger person and ignore others ignorance.
